The Romanian Association for Audience Measurement (ARMA) organized on May 27th, 2010 The International Seminar “Audience Measurement in a Digital World” .

The event is organize in a moment when the entire Romanian market is confronted with the important changes taking place due to the switching from analogue to digital systems in communications in general and in broadcasting in particular. The appearance and steady growth of DTH (covering approx 25% of households receving TV), IPTV,web TV and digital cable, combined with the governmental commitments to achieve digital terrestrial TV transmission in 2011 give a decisive signal to the communication and marketing community towards exploring the optimal ways and means of ensuring the transition to the audience measurement in the digital world of tomorrow.

The International Seminar addresses to the managers and experts specialized in communication and communications. People working in TV and radio stations, Internet operators, DTH platforms, other digital operators, media and advertising agencies, representatives of advertisers and governmental agencies.

We hope that through this meeting, by listening to intenationally recognized experts and having an interaction with them, the steps to be jointly decided and implemented by the industry will be made more clear to the community and will give an impetus for the bold changes ahead.
